The Gift of Fog, September 11, 2011
You may think that the choice of fog as a topic for this blog is a bit unusual. However, I love the metaphor of Fog. Try this visualization:
See yourself outside now; you may be walking or just sitting somewhere in nature. Slowly a mist begins to engulf you. Allow this to happen until you are completely surrounded in fog. Your first reaction may be one of fear as you can’t see anything. Allow yourself to experience this. But also begin to take some deep relaxing breaths. Know that at the moment you can’t see and you lack clarity. This may even be happening in your life right now.
Here’s the gift....take the time to sit quietly in the fog. Feel its texture. Notice its nurishing dampness. Soak in this healing and purifying energy. As you take it in allow it to fill you up inside and outside. The gift or blessing is that sitting in the quietness will assist your body and energy field in dissolving those old emotions of fear, guilt, anger, frustration, depression, lethargy......whatever old programs that are not serving you. So, sit now and enjoy the fog.....allow it.....surrender to it...be immersed......let it dissolve and assist you to release.....all you need to do is ask to be cleared, energized, released from the old......ask for clarity.....ask to raise your frequency to your highest potential for today.....feel the nourishing moisture.....BE quiet and breathe......spend as long as you want here. You’re safe and protected here, you’re not vulnerable.
Now, notice that the heaviness is beginning to lift as sunlight pierces the cloud and it dissolves.........now what do you see? how do you feel? take your time and experience the new “lightness”..........
Many in the world today appear as if they’re in a fog. They experience the illusion of density and darkness, but it’s only a time of transition and transformation. Whether you realize it or not the entire world and universe are shifting to a higher way of existing. As is normal in times of great change it appears that the world is in chaos and crisis. You can choose to believe gloom and doom as presented or you can choose to surrender and allow your own experience. You can struggle and be stuck in the fog, or you can make another choice.
How does fog disappear? The light enters and burns away the fog, density, and darkness. Then there is a brighter way of experiencing and SEEing all that’s around you. The colors appear brighter; the air is cleaner; there is a feeling of new life and opportunity. The choice is yours, how do you perceive the fog? Is there a lesson for you now? Where is your darkness? Can you bring it light? Don’t allow the fear, lack, chaos, struggle to overwhelm you. You are never alone. The unknown leads you to your purpose if you only allow. Ask for help from your angels, guides, God, friends, family, and you’ll always receive it. And soak up some moonbeams as you enjoy tomorrow’s full moon in Virgo.

This is a beautiful blog. I love fog, and the way it seems to cleanse the world. It always makes feel peaceful. I love it when the sun finally pierces through the misty sky to reveal the most astonishing colors and vivid imagery. It immediately fills you with a sense of gratitude! Thank you LeeAnn for sharing your insight.
